In addition to practicing the 5 Habits for Christian Growth, we also encourage everyone at The Summit Church to participate in a small group.
The New Testament makes it clear that Christians in the first century met in two locations: they met publicly and in houses (Acts 2:46, 5:42, 20:20.) The Summit Church continues to follow that same pattern. The reason is that everyone has certain spiritual needs that can be met in our worship services. These include things like corporate worship and teaching from our pastor. But we also have needs that can only be met in a smaller setting. Small groups are where relationships are built and individual needs can be cared for.
The Summit Church has a variety of small groups that meet on Sundays (both services) and midweek. Some are for men, some are for women, some are for couples, and some are connected to specific ministries like our College Group. Contact Pastor Brian Merz for more information on how to connect with a small group.
